THE KIDS

The Get Up Kids are James DeWees on keyboard, Matthew Pryor, Jim Suptic and Rob Pope on guitars and Ryan Pope on drums.

The band was formed in 1996 in Topeka, Kansas. With four albums to their credit, The Kids have slowly been working their way into mainstream recognition with numerous tours.

I've not had the pleasure of seeing them live but they are one of my favourite bands. The Get Up Kids were my introduction to the emo genre and their powerful lyrics and wonderful compositions keep me coming back for more.
